Terms and Conditions
Veterinary Referrals

-
In accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, veterinary physiotherapists are required to treat under referral from the animal’s vet. All rehabilitation clients (animals with acute or chronic injury or disease) MUST have a referral form signed by their veterinarian. If I have not received a direct referral from your vet, it is your responsibility to contact your vet and email the signed referral form to me (insyncvetphysio@outlook.com) at least 24hrs before your scheduled appointment time.
-
As of 2018 changes in the RCVS Code of Conduct, mean that maintenance clients (animals without acute or chronic injury or disease) do not have to obtain veterinary referral. If I observe any changes in your dog’s condition, it is my legal obligation to cease treatment until your pet has been seen by their veterinarian.
-
I reserve the right not to treat an animal that requires veterinary treatment. Under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 animals in unmanaged pain must be seen by a veterinarian before physiotherapy intervention. A full refund will be issued if I deem it inappropriate or unsafe to treat your animal on the day of the appointment.
